Kyle has over a decade of experience in the academic, government, and non-profit sectors, working on a range of topics related to environmental stewardship of public and private lands in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. Kyle now works as a research scientist at ERI, where he uses tools such as remote sensing, GIS, dendrochronology, and field research to develop solutions to complex problems in forest ecology and management. Kyle’s research interests include: climate adaptation, disturbance ecology, forest demographics, historical changes in human land use and land cover, and multi-disciplinary approaches to management issues.
