Bio
As a part of ERI’s Forest Operations and Biomass Utilization team, Tucker’s research focuses on fuel reduction thinning and forest restoration planning, productivity, and costs, evaluation of the U.S. Forest Service’s Transaction Evidence Appraisal approach to timber sale cost estimation, forest products industry analysis, and identifying solutions to the forest biomass bottleneck in Arizona.
Prior to returning to Northern Arizona University to pursue his master’s degree in 2023, Tucker spent more than ten years working with non-profit environmental conservation corps programs across Arizona, Colorado, and Nevada. In his free time, he enjoys reading, camping, and exploring remote wilderness landscapes, hot springs, and swimming holes throughout the Southwest.
