Jake Fitzharris
Research Associate
Jake holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Psychology from Oregon State University, a Master of Science in Forestry from Michigan State University, and a Graduate Certificate in Forest Carbon Science, Policy, and Management from Michigan State University. His graduate research at Michigan State focused on using mass spectrometry data to verify wood species and determine their geographic origin.
He is passionate about both forest science and environmental policy in addition to bridging the gaps between the two. Before joining ERI, Jake worked with the Keough School of Global Affairs at the University of Notre Dame, where he contributed to spatial modeling of forest change across South America.
