Summer 2025 ERI Newsletter – Science Delivery – Field Notes

The Science Delivery and Application group at ERI is planning to participate in the 36th annual Flagstaff Festival of Science and the Colorado Plateau Biennial Workshop, both occurring this September.

The Science Delivery team’s Danika Thiele is leading ERI’s participation efforts in this year’s science festival, taking place Sept. 19–28. The festival is a 10-day celebration with free events and programs that celebrate the wonders of science. Danika will lead the ERI booth at Science in the Park on Sept. 20. There are also plans to conduct a “Ponderosa Pete” read along and assist in a remote sensing Lidar demonstration. For more information and a schedule of events, visit scifest.org.

The ERI is also helping to organize and provide ecological and social science sessions at the Colorado Plateau Biennial Workshop, September 9-12! While a slightly smaller conference this year due to federal partner limitations, we are providing a hybrid option to include as many of our partners as possible! Visit the workshop webpage here to learn more, and click here to register.
